"As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves." -Maya Angelou
I became a nurse because I felt called to serve and care for others. I had no idea that being a nurse meant entering a war zone. Every. Single. Day. The biggest battle I faced was caring for others without forgetting to care for myself.
I believe the best way we as nurses can build healthy communities is by being healthy ourselves: mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Imagine how the health of our communities would change if all four million registered nurses in the United States were living their most healthy and balanced lives!
Nurses wrestle with multiple critical demands, a tug of war which depletes us of our energy. It is not easy to prioritize our own health and well-being, and all of us could use some support. This is where I can help! I have learned that powerful conversations heal, resilience is obtained through presence, and transformation occurs through listening.
Through our coaching relationship, we can build a plan to help you prioritize your own self-care and reach your goals. I will be your accountability partner and your advocate, every step of the way.
